Summer weddings are the perfect time to use color for brighten up your special day. You can even use as many colors as you want! I like this idea because it allows you to incorporate a lot of different florals into your wedding. It also allows your bridesmaids and groomsmen to look different than one another, we all know that no grown woman wants to stand next to another in the same exact outfit. Although, it is perfectly acceptable to do so if the bride wishes. It just might not be preferred by your maids.
I love the way this couple used yellow and a few different shades of blue in their wedding.
Note: it's the little details like the hairstyle, pearls, bangles, and plaid bowtie that really make a wedding stand out as having a vintage flare. So, if you fall madly in love with a modern Vera Wang gown, don't sweat it! I was one of those brides that thought I was going to have to sacrifice my vintage style for my dress gown, but then I realized that you can make anything into what you want it to be. Summer weddings also allow to create your own AMAZING venue. It can be at a park, a garden, or your very own back yard. The part I love about this is that it gives the couple a chance to really express their style and personalities throughout the entire wedding. Lets face it, getting married indoors just isn't for everyone.
